The Conveyor Belt building operator is responsible for assembling different components of belt as per given specification using appropriate machines and tools.

Job Role

Preparing the material, tools, and machine for building and assembly

Cutting ply and inner liner made with rubber pieces as per the required specifications 

Using scissor or knife to cut the ply and inner liners as per company-provided specifications

Loading cut ply and inner in the machine let off

Pulling out inner liner from poly/cotton liner and spreading it over the working table

Pulling out ply of desired width and angle, and putting it on top of inner liner

Stitching the belt properly and removing trapped air

Monitoring the machine properly during the building up the operation 

Carrying out housekeeping, reporting, documentation, and quality checks

WORK ENVIRONMENT

It needs one to be on their toes

Need not handle a team

Local traveling is not a part of this job role

Part-time work and contractual jobs may be available in some cities
