About Us

A building operator for solid tyres is responsible for assembling different slabs/strips of rubber compound on a pre-prepared tyre rim and sending them for curing

Job Role

Preparing rim and collecting compounds to build solid tyres

Applying metal to rubber adhesive paint on the inside surface of the rim where the rubber component will be placed/built up 

Applying the first inside layer and placing beads in position  

Following the sequence of consolidating components on the building rim as per guidelines issued by the technical team

Placing rubber on the rim in a specified manner and in a specific number of layers as per the procedure given by the technical team 

Applying stitchers with appropriate stitching pressure for proper and uniform stitching

Inspecting the tyre for blemishes and air pockets or puncture blisters with awl and storing them in appropriate sling/saddle trucks to prevent any distortions/damage to the green tyre 

Carrying out housekeeping, reporting and documentation, quality checks and problem identification and escalation activities
