MPhil in Ancient History (Master of Philosophy in Ancient History)

M.Phil (Ancient History) is a 2-year duration doctoral level course. The course provide study about the culture, society, politics and the intellectual universe of old civilizations, for example, Egypt, Greece or Rome. It provide knowledge on such subject as the ancient world at war, and archaeology, Egyptian language, Egyptian religion, Roman revolution, artifact studies, ancient, early Christianity. Candidates will learn about the history and the society of antiquity, from the starting of the classical civilization to the fall of the Roman Empire. Student will get in-depth information on a variety of censorious approaches to ancient history methodological questions and problems. M.Phil in Ancient History course mainly connected with similar fields such as cultural studies, anthropology, and philosophy. Candidates of this course develop the skills for manage the research, creating historical theories, and showing their discoveries.  

Eligibility:

• To seek after M.Phil., one needs to have a Master's degree in Ancient History.
