MPhil in Fluid Mechanics (Master of Philosophy in Fluid Mechanics)

M.Phil(Fluid Mechanics) is a two year Postgraduate Academic Research Degree course. The  program centered on the development and application of CFD modelling to study turbulent combustion processes in gas turbines and industrial furnaces. It provide knowledge about how basic equations for fluid flow can be derived, which calculation can be used to solve practical problems in different flow situations, classic hydraulic situations for constructions of hydropower plants, water supply plants, river protection structures, ports and fixed marine structures. During this program candidates can manage how to compute hydrostatic forces on floating structures with varying load. This estimate involves coursework and the writing and acceptance of the dissertation. Through this course holder can make their career in various fields. It provide on part time basis by various college and university.

Eligibility:

• To seek after M.Phil., one needs to have a Master's degree in Fluid Mechanicsc. Up-and-comers need to gain 55% stamps in the subject picked for M.Phil. course or an associated subject at the postgraduate level to be viewed as qualified for the course. The rate Norm may fluctuate from Institute to Institute.
