MPhil in Green Technology (Master of Philosophy in Green Technology)

M.Phil (Green Technology) is a postgraduate academic research degree course. Green Technologies is a highly interdisciplinary degree course that focus on energy technology and efficiency, green systems and the environment, and sustainability and society. Applicants also profit from numerous green and sustainable projects throughout the Los Angeles region. The degree program involves building Green cities which are built by eco-savvy methods. Green Chemistry, a subject area of Green Technology centered on invention, design and application of chemical products and processes that reduces the use of hazardous substances. The aim of this course to develop credible means to protect the natural environment, conserve resources, and minimize the negative impact of human activities in order to made up a sustainable environment that ensures the present generation has enough while future generations get more. Against the backdrop of the growing shortage of natural resources, and in line with the global shift regarding producing energy using efficient methodologies from clean and renewable sources, researchers at the School of Engineering with diverse expertise are working jointly under the  Green Technology research. The research degree course offers study of using natural materials, and producing synthetic materials as environmentally-friendly products.
