MPhil in Italian (Master of Philosophy in Italian)

M.Phil Italian is a Postgraduate Academic Research Degree course. The course involves various specialized topics Folkloric influence, Gender and Italian culture, Dialectology, Phonology, Renaissance drama and Medieval literature. Candidates will have the opportunity to work closely with a Supervisor who is a specialist in your research area. The doctoral program involves giving conference papers, publishing, seminars and workshops on library resources, applications and interviews, teaching skills, specialist linguistics training, and film-making. The main purpose of this course to cultivate a dynamic and productive graduate academic community benefitting from high-quality teaching, one that is engaged in original research leading to academic publications, to attending and contributing to scholarly meetings, and to completing successful doctoral dissertations in a timely manner.
