MPhil in Medical Science Paediatrics (Master of Philosophy in Medical Science Paediatrics)

M.Phil (Paediatrics) is a postgraduate academic degree course. The research degree program to reduce infant and child rate of deaths, control the extend of infectious disease, promote healthy lifestyles for a long disease-free life and help facility the problems of children with chronic conditions. The main purpose of this course is to skill student in dealing with all kinds of pediatric diseases, To offer comprehensive care for such children with long-term follow- up of chronic cases of childhood disease and to provide medical and para-medical education to candidates in order to ensure a holistic training involving theoretical and practical skills. The course work involves the writing and acceptance of the dissertation. The educational program is designed in a manner which molds the applicant in the entire aspect for their future. During the course time it provide training in Pediatrics and Neonatology to produce competent specialists who are able to provide basic and specialty care to neonates, infants, children, and adolescents. Master of Philosophy in Paediatrics course take around 2-year to complete and its syllabus is divide in six semesters. After successful completing Master of Philosophy through distance learning, candidates can continue further research through other doctoral programs.
