MPhil in Political Geography (Master of Philosophy in Political Geography)

M.Phil (Political Geography) is a two year duration Postgraduate Academic Research Degree course. M.Phil Political Geography provide advanced study of the influence of political factors in the distribution of populations, and their effect on the environment. Political geography is related the study of both the spatially uneven outcomes of political processes. Candidates in the course prepare thesis on any of these topics such as Political Geography, Agricultural Geography, Social Geography of India, Natural Resource Management, Urban Settlement System, Cultural Geography, Regional Development, Environment and Ecology, Fundamentals of Remote Sensing and GIS, Contemporary Human Geography, Advanced Physical Geography, Hydrology and Water Resource Management etc. It provide on part time basis by various college and university in India. During the study time candidates learn about nature and scope of cultural geography, scaling techniques, rank score, environment and culture, weighted score, and types of regions and methods of regional delineation are good suit for the course.
