MPhil in Seed Science and Technology (Master of Philosophy in Seed Science and Technology)

M.Phil (Seed Science & Technology) is a  Postgraduate Academic Research Degree course. The course provide basis knowledge about the importance of the connection between plant biology and growth conditions for yield and achieved quality in agricultural crops as well as grasses for bioenergy and recreational purposes. The main purpose of this program is to involve players in the whole value chain from production to end user in the research in order to contribute to a sustainable agricultural production that full fills society’s demands. M.Phil in Seed Science & Technology course define as the study of the structure and development of seeds from the moment of fertilization of the egg cell on the maternal plant until formation of a latest plant from the seed. Area of course offers scientific and technological touch to the study of seed-related aspects which is located at the core of plant and crop growth. The full degree course consists of two year and its syllabus is divide in six semesters. 

Eligibility:

• To seek after M.Phil., one needs to have a Master's degree in Seed Science & Technology. Up-and-comers need to gain 55% stamps in the subject picked for M.Phil. course or an associated subject at the postgraduate level to be viewed as qualified for the course. The rate Norm may fluctuate from Institute to Institute. 
• A composed test possibly directed to evaluate the competitor's learning. The individuals who qualify in the composed test will be required to show up in a meeting. Certain establishment's waiver passageway test if the applicant has qualified in NET, SET or proportionate national level assessment.
