MPhil in Statistics (Master of Philosophy in Statistics)

M.Phil (Statistics) is two year duration Postgraduate Academic Research Degree course. The program designed for provide to eligible candidates a wide base of advanced learning in Theoretical Statistics, Applied Statistics, Probability, and such areas of study. For this candidates must be very hard working and must posses the capacity of independent study and thought. The M.Phil program involves four area such as viz. Statistical Modeling, Biostatistics, Mathematical/Probability Statistics, and Actuarial Science/Financial Mathematics. After successful completion in this course candidates have much professional scope in teaching/ lectureship, and even research. It is relevant to a wide variety of educational disciplines, from the natural and social sciences to the humanities, government, and business. The full degree course consists of three year and its syllabus is divide in six semesters of six month each. Through this course candidates can make their career in various fields
