Ph.D. In Resource Management and Consumer
Sciences is a doctoral-level Program. The doctoral course involves family,
marketing, nutrition, apparel design, life management, & interior design.

resource issues. 

Human Dimensions of the Environmental
Systems: NRES graduate candidates may participate in HDES, an interdisciplinary
program comprised of faculty from 6 colleges at Illinois. Participants are
united in the study of connections between
humans & the environment. The course is built on premise that the best
insights are not limited to the domain of a single discipline & is
interdisciplinary in all its pursuits. 

Ph.D. In Resource Management and
Consumer Sciences Admission Process: 

Admission to Ph.D. program shall be based
on the candidate marks obtained in the entrance test conducted by the respective
department or school of a particular university or institute. Those students who
have completed the GATE/NET/SET/ M.Phil/JRF Examination in the pertinent subjects of the
apex bodies as CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR/DBT will be exempted from Entrance Test.
While giving the exemption, the Departmental Committee of the institute may
consider research work/earlier Ph.D./experience done by the candidate. If a Candidate
already holds a doctor's degree in the relevant subject from a UGC Approved
University or Institute, he/she may be exempted from entrance exam & pre
Ph.D. coursework. After clearing both steps the student will be eligible to
pay the program fee or registration fee. Only the predetermined number of students
may be admitted to Ph.D. programmer.
