PhD in International Business and General Management (Doctor of Philosophy in International Business and General Management)

PH.D. IN INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS & GENERAL MANAGEMENT is a doctoral level course. The full degree course consists of 3-year and its syllabus is divide in 6-year of six month. International Business is the study of controlling, leading, monitoring, organizing and planning of business activities. During the study time it offers a broad business education that focuses on the fundamentals of business management and critical leadership skills and is immediately relevant to today’s business challenges and changing the climate. Area of course prepare candidates to conduct high-quality research pertinent to private or public organizations, to direct research by others, and to communicate research findings through teaching and writing. After its successful completion in Ph.D International Business course candidates have various job opportunities in many field such as banking, finance, management, consulting, marketing, teaching, accounting, and human resources. Cleaning the program candidates have good businesses planning skills and must be able to translate their vision into an actionable plan.  

Admission Process:

Admission to the Ph.D. program shall be based on the students marks obtained in the entrance test conducted by the respective department or school of the particular university or institute. Those candidates who have complete GATE/NET/SET/ M.Phil/JRF Examination in the pertinent subject of the apex bodies as CSIR/UGC/ICAR/ICMR/DBT will be exempted from the Entrance Test. While giving the exemption, the Departmental Committee of the institute may consider research work/earlier Ph.D./experience done by the student. If a student already holds a Doctors degree in a relevant subject from a UGC Approved University or Institute, he/she may be exempted from entrance exam and pre Ph.D. coursework. After clearing the both steps the student will be eligible to pay course fee or registration fee. Only the predetermined number of candidates may be admitted to Ph.D. programme.
