Textual Analysis: The study of Vaishnava scriptures such as the Bhagavad Gita, the Bhagavata Purana, and the Upanishads would be a central part of a PhD program in Vaishnavism. This would involve advanced analysis and interpretation of these texts, as well as their historical and cultural context.

Contemporary Issues: Finally, a PhD program in Vaishnavism might also include the study of contemporary issues related to Vaishnavism, such as the impact of globalization, the role of Vaishnavism in modern society, and the challenges facing Vaishnava communities today.

Degrees) (1st Amendment) Regulations, 2018 and subsequent amendments. The entire procedure for admission to the research programs encompasses a Research Entrance Exam (RET) and then an Interview/Viva Voce. The performance of a candidate in the RET is given 70% weightage, and the remaining 30% weightage is given to his/her performance at the Interview.
